Introducing our Stallion "IN SHINING ARMOR"

In Shining Armor is a stunning purebred Irish Draught Stallion that encompasses all of the best qualities of this breed.  He has outstanding conformation, good movement, and the typical Irish Draught easy going temperament. 

In Shining Armor has a very good pedigree and is one of the few stallions in North America that has Glenagyle Rebel in his pedigree.  In Shining Armor boasts a very potent family.  His dam's side traces back to the legendary King of Diamonds line that has produced many of the worlds top jumpers as well as Glenagyle Rebel, who was a grade A show jumper himself.  His sire, Glenlara, was a successful Grade B show jumper, fox hunter, as well as a medium dressage horse.  This side traces back to the legendary Pride of Shaunlara and the Ben Purlple lines.  In Shining Armor has a wonderful mixture of the classic and more modern Irish Draught lines.

In Shining Armor has had two crops of foal that have been outstanding. They are all correct, athletic and full of personality.

In Shining Armor is approximately 16.2 hands.  He is now broke and being ridden and enjoyed by his amatuer owner.  His amatuer person, Nikko, just wants to love and enjoy him and hopefully compete with him in the jumper and dressage ring.  We are talking with Chelan Kozak, Canadian Three-Day Event Team Member, to expose him to the lower levels of eventing but if it looks like way too much fun his amatuer just may have to try!!!  We would also like to teach Thatcher to drive.  Of course we will let Thatcher show us what he will want to do the most and develop him in that area but our main goal in the end is to just enjoy Thatcher and let him be a horse and compete for fun.
